Friday night we played at the Kendall Cafe in Cambridge to a large crowd. We saw two people we hadn't seen since high school which
is always a treat. Rama Winslow played the second set, in a return from 3 years off due to tendinitis.
Saturday we traveled to Providence to play at Stone Soup. We love returning to Stone Soup Coffeehouse, where we got our start.
THe coffeehouse was held at beautiful Slater Mill, right off rt 95. The performance is in a long mill room above the museum below
with white walls and those beautiful rectangle paned windows, much like the mills in Lowell. We caught up with some friends from Providence,
and were so grateful that people braved the cold.
Sunday we had a fabulous show at the House of Musak in New Haven. These folks are ardent music supporters, opening up their living room to musicians
from around the country. We had a great crowd and a really fun show, including a "siren solo" by a local ambulance during one
of the songs, and other revelations into the "dark warm underbelly" of acoustic music....
